Exporting SSL Certificates from Windows to Linux

  • 1. Export SSL Certificate and assembly files from IIS
  • 2. Convert PFX file from IIS to PEM files. Use commands on Linux.
  • 3. Convert PFX file from IIS to Private Key. Use commands on Linux.
  • 4. Install SSL Certificate on Linux Server. (See the installation steps above, choose the topic that match your server's OS)

Exporting SSL Certificates from Linux to Windows

 
  If you have installed SSL Certificate on Linux Server and need to install SSL Certificates on Window Server also, follow these steps

  • 1. Prepare these files first. Certificate.cer, PrivateKey.key, CA-INTERMEDIATE.cer, CA-ROOT.cer
  • 2. Use our tools SSL Converter (Please read the instructions 3-7 first.)
  • 3. Current type: choose PEM, Change for: choose PFX
  • 4. Click Choose File button for Upload files Certificate, Private Key, Root CA and Intermediate(s) CA
  • 5. Set Password for PFX files for security (Don't forget to write down passwords.)
  • 6. Click CONVERT buton - Wait a few minutes. When the process is finished, save as Certificate.pfx
  • 7. Bring certificate.pfx file to installe on Windows Server --> PFX Import/Export
